Groups are used to make two or more light switches function as one. This also means that two or more Orro Switches in one Group will function like a multiway switch (where more than one switch controls the same lights). Groups can also be used to allow Orro Switches used in multiway settings to function as one.
The light levels of the grouped lights will always be the same and can be controlled from any of the group Switches. All Switches in the group will act as one and share most lighting settings (Eco Mode, Auto Transition, Preference Learning, Night Time, and more). Since you may interact with Switches differently, each individual Switch will have its own Auto-On and Auto-Off sensitivity settings.
Groups, like single Orro Switches, must exist in a Room. A Room can have multiple Groups and any Scenes will be reflected across the single Switches and Groups in that Room.
Example of a Group
If you have 2 or more Switches that control different lights in the same room or area you want to function as one. You’ll need to replace each switch that controls that lighting circuit. Once you have the Orro Switches installed and set up, they will appear as a Group in the Orro App. You will now be able to control the lights from either Orro Switch.
