Currently, Orro only supports one account per home. The Orro Engineering Team is working on enabling multiple user accounts per home in the near future. In the meantime, Orro customers can allow additional users to control their Orro Switches through Voice Assistants and Integrations.
Orro customers can invite additional users to control the Switch lighting level (Scene control coming soon) from the following apps and devices:
- SmartThings app
- Google Home app, Google Assistant app, and Google Home Hubs
- Amazon Alexa app and Alexa/Echo devices
NOTE: You do not need an Alexa or Google Home device to control Orro devices, only the respective service’s mobile app.

How to Share SmartThings Control
To share control of your Orro Switch, open your SmartThings app and tap the “+” sign at the top right. Select “Add member”, then select the invitation method (QR code or Samsung account ID). The QR code option will instruct you and the desired person(s) how to accept the invitation. The Samsung account ID option will send an email to the desired person(s) to accept the invitation.
Please be advised that additional members have access to control and manage all the devices in that SmartThings location only.
How to Share Google Home Control
To share control of your Orro Switch, open your Google Home app and select “Invite home member”. Complete the prompts to allow the desired person(s) access to your devices.
Please be advised that additional home members will be able to control and manage all the devices in your Google Home account and access your media services. Adding additional home members is currently not allowed for G Suite accounts.
How to Share Amazon Alexa Control
To share control of your Orro Switch, open your Alexa app and tap the menu icon in the top left. Select “Settings”, “Alexa Account”, then “Amazon Household”. You will now be able to invite one adult to become a member of your household and control and manage the devices.
Please be advised that additional Amazon Household members will have access to your Amazon content including credit cards associated with the account for Amazon purchases. Follow the instructions provided in the Alexa app to restrict access to credit cards.
