Rooms organize each Orro Switch in the Orro App to help you control the lighting in each physical space. Each Switch is automatically assigned to a Room during setup but can be moved to a different Room (existing or new) after setup is complete.
At the Room level in the Orro App you can do the following:
- Lighting levels can be adjusted for each individual light or across the entire Room.
- Scenes can be applied to the Room and adjusted for each device.
- Enable or disable the sharing of Orro's presence and ambient light detection. When enabled, Orro can automatically control all lights in the Room (Orro and Third Party Lights) to automatically turn them on or off to match what the Orro Switch is doing.
Example of a Room
If you have 3 Switches that control different lights in the same room, you’ll need to replace each switch connected to the light(s) that you want the Orro Switch to control. Once you have multiple Orro Switches in one Room in the Orro App, they will be able to coordinate with each other and share presence detection capabilities.
