|AUTOMATIC LIGHTING||MANUAL LIGHTING CONTROL||SWITCH DISPLAY|
AUTO-OFF means that the Switch will turn off automatically when it no longer detects enough noise or motion (presence). For more information about how Orro uses Presence Detection, please click here. To adjust your Auto-Off settings, please click here.
AUTO-ON is a feature where the Switch will turn on automatically when it detects presence. This feature is paired with Light Sense (see below) so the lights only turn on when needed. For more information about how Orro uses Presence Detection, please click here. To find out how you can adjust your Auto-On settings, please click here.
AUTO TRANSITION allows the Orro Switch to smoothly transition to your learned light level preference for each time of day. Initially, the default light levels are set to mimic nature—gradually increasing light in the morning and slowly lowering your light levels throughout your evening. For more information about how Orro works with Natural Light, please click here. To learn more about this feature including how to manage the settings, please click here.
ECO MODE is designed to keep the lights off when there is enough light in the room. If the Switch determines there is enough light—based on the Light Sense preference selected in Switch settings—you will see a green leaf icon (Eco Mode) on the Switch display and the Switch will stay off. For more information about how Orro works with Natural Light, please click here. To adjust your Light Sense settings, please click here.
NIGHTTIME LIGHTING uses your pre-set Sleep Schedule (sleep and wake times) to keep the lights off, turn the lights on to a learned light level, or turn the lights on to a set light level when motion is detected. Nighttime Lighting is activated at the start of your sleep time or if you turn off your lights within an hour of your sleep time. When in effect, you will see a yellow moon icon on the Switch display. To learn how to adjust your Sleep Schedule or Nighttime Lighting preferences, please click here.
PREFERENCE LEARNING is a feature that enables the Switch to recognize every time you adjust the dimmer level. Over time, you are teaching it your lighting preferences. In a matter of days, the Switch will start predicting your desired light levels more and more accurately. In a week, the Switch will gain an understanding of your daily routine. To learn more about Preference Learning, please click here. To disable or enable Preference Learning, please click here. Alternately, you can manually control the brightness that your lights will automatically turn on to with Custom Light Levels.
PRESENCE-BASED OFF is a feature that keeps the lights off for as long as you remain in the room after your Orro Switch has been manually turned off. You’ll see a soft white/pink/purple LED to indicate that someone previously turned the Switch off.
MANUAL LIGHTING CONTROL
CUSTOM LIGHT LEVELS is a feature to create the perfect automatic lighting experience with your Orro System. You can manually specify how bright you want the lights for each hour of the day! To learn more about custom lighting, please click here.
HOLD is a feature that allows you to lock the lights at a particular level (including off) for up to 8 hours. After pressing and holding any dimmer dot to enable Hold, the lights will stay at that level for 8 hours or until you change the light level or disable the hold. When a hold is in effect, you will see a yellow circle icon on the Switch display (illustrations below). For a further explanation of the feature and examples of instances where you may want to utilize Hold, please click here.
GROUPS are used to make multiple Switches and lighting circuits function as one lighting circuit. All Grouped Orro Switches will maintain the same light levels on all connected lights. This also means that two or more Orro Switches in one Group will function like a multiway switch. To learn more about Groups, please click here.
ROOMS organize each Orro Switch in the Orro App to help you control the lighting in each physical space. Rooms are automatically created for each Switch during Setup, but Switches can be moved to an existing or new Room later. Light levels can be adjusted across a Room all at once using the Orro App or using Scenes on the Orro Switch. To learn more about Rooms, please click here. For how to adjust Rooms, please click here.
SCENES are preset lighting settings that can be enabled with a single tap. Each Switch has access to your Home Scenes and that Switch's Room Scenes. By default, Orro Switches come with the following Room Scenes: Relax, Focus, and Max. Depending on the Room Type of the Switch, there may be an additional Scene available. To learn more about Scenes, please click here.
Scenes can be edited, created, and have their order of appearance adjusted in the Orro App. The preset light level of a Scene can also be edited directly on the Orro Switch when the Scene is enabled. For how to edit Scenes, please click here.
FACES are the control screens of the Switch that you move between by swiping left to right or right to left. Out of the box, the Faces available on the Switch are the Dimmer (default), Scene, Feedback, and System Update Faces. As integrations are added, additional Faces will be added to each Switch.
You are able to choose each Switch’s default Face and rearrange the Faces for each Switch to best suit your needs. To learn more about Faces, please click here. To learn how to adjust Switch Faces, please click here.
