If you’d like to connect the Orro Switch to your smart doorbell, please follow the instructions below to connect your Switch to enable the Chime feature. Chime is an extension of your smart doorbell and can play the doorbell sound on your Orro Switch to any room of the home.
Orro is compatible with August Doorbells, Arlo Video Doorbells, and Nest Hello Doorbells, as well as Ring using our SmartThings Remote.
NOTE: Before connecting, please make sure that your Orro Switch is fully set up.

Open the Orro App
- For Ring Doorbells, first integrate your Ring doorbell into your SmartThings account. Then refer to Connect and Use SmartThings Remotes.

Scroll to Devices
- Select Doorbell
- Tap Connect
- Select brand

Sign into your doorbell account

Complete account verification and granting doorbell account permissions
- Select which doorbells you want to Chime on your Orro Switch and tap Next.
- Walk through the remaining steps and integration education in the App. Once setup is complete, you will see a “Success!” screen. Tap Done to complete setup.
- Test the integration by ringing your doorbell and see if you hear the Switch(es) chime!
You’re all set to have Chime on your Orro Switch!
Now, if someone is ringing our doorbell, it will play the doorbell sound on your Switch.

- Stand in front of your Orro Switch
- Swipe right-to-left on the display to access the doorbell face. By default, this face is immediately to the right of the dimmer, however, this can vary based on your Faces settings.
- Tap the sound icon to mute Chime for that Switch only. When muted, it should look like this:
