The Orro Switch is a 1:1 retrofit for a Decorator-style light switch. Below are some common configurations and how you can utilize the Orro Switch in them:
Single Switches: 1 Switch that controls one light or a set of lights.
Multigang Switches: 2 or more Switches that control different lights but are located in the same panel/faceplate.

1 Switch that controls one light or a set of lights.
2 or more Switches (Multiway) that control a single light or a set of lights. The Orro Switch can be installed in place of one or all of these multiway switches.
When only one Orro Switch is installed in a multiway setup (also known as Simple Multiway), it will appear and function like a single Switch in the Orro App. The traditional switch(es) can be toggled on and off and the Orro Switch will respond accordingly.
Please Note: In a Simple Multiway configuration, the Orro Switch must be installed in the Load switch location.
2 or more Switches (Multi-Gang) that control different lights in the same room. Many homes have multi-gang switch panels which are when you have 2 or more switches next to each other in the same faceplate.
The Orro Switch is a 1:1 replacement for a traditional switch and can be installed in place of as many light switches as you desire. You’ll need to replace each switch that you want the Orro Switch to control. This gives you the flexibility to install wherever you want without whole gang-plate requirements. You can install 1 Orro Switch for each existing switch location or only replace the switches you use the most. The Switch is not able to control non-lighting devices like fans or vents, so this 1:1 replacement allows you to avoid those non-light switches on your panel.
Once you have multiple Orro Switches in one Room in the Orro App, they will be able to coordinate with each other. You can also add these lights into a Group, which makes separate lighting circuits function as one (like multiway).
