1. Check your WiFi router is working
First off please confirm that the wireless router is working. Use your phone to check and see if you are able to reach the internet on that device when connected to your WiFi network.
2. Restart your switch
If the WiFi router is working, but your switch is still not online, please first try restarting your switch. To do this, follow the instructions given below:
a. Hold “OFF” for 10 seconds until you see a screen appear that has restart and factory reset buttons on it. See image below for the screen you should see:
b. Tap RESTART. Restarting the switch power-cycles it internally. It does not erase any data or settings.
c. Let the switch reboot and check the WiFi connection again. Shown below is a quick video of the steps explained above:
If restart does not work
If the above steps do not work, we will need to reboot the switch with the air-gap tab. The air-gap switch is a small slider at the bottom of the switch. When pulled out (away from the wall) it disconnects electricity.
STEP 1: Pull out the air gap switch
STEP 2: Wait 10 Seconds
STEP 3: Push tab back into switch and let switch boot up.
See GIF below for guidance on the above three steps:
